Hilltop Securities Inc. announced that Matthew Sansbury and Alex Bugallo have joined the firm's public finance division as managing directors.

The duo will join Hilltop's existing public finance banking team in Florida where they will focus on growing the company's municipal client base along with seeking new opportunities for the firm's growth in the southeastern U.S.

Sansbury and Bugallo previously worked at Stifel Nicolaus & Co. Inc.
