Atlantic Insurance Co. Public Ltd. said its consolidated profit for 2018 is expected to be lower than 2017 because of losses in its investment portfolio.

The insurer said that based on the data available to date, the investment portfolio suffered losses in 2018, compared with a profit in 2017.

The Cyprus-based company added that its net premiums and profits from insurance operations are expected to increase compared to 2017.
