Midwest HoldingInc. said that Kevin Feder was appointed to its board, effective March29.

Feder replaces JimBallard, who resigned from the board in December 2015.

Feder has been a consulting financial analyst since September2015. Before that he served with York Capital Management as a senior analyst andsector head of financials, according to a Form 8-K filed April 6.
