Jiangsu Yunyi Electric Q3 profit climbs YOY

Jiangsu Yunyi Electric Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the third quarter came to 12.9 million yuan, an increase from 5.9 million yuan in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin increased to 10.3% from 7.3% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed 55.1% on an annual basis to 124.6 million yuan from 80.3 million yuan, and total operating expenses increased 43.8% on an annual basis to 107.5 million yuan from 74.7 million yuan.

Reported net income rose from the prior-year period to 15.5 million yuan, or 2 fen per share, from 4.4 million yuan, or 1 fen per share.

As of Oct. 25, US$1 was equivalent to 6.78 yuan.
