Kansas City, Kan.-based Bank of Labor elected Michael Langford to its board.

Langford is the national president of Utility Workers Union of America. He sits on the executive council and the executive committee for the department of professional employees of American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations, the advisory board of American Income Life Insurance Co. Inc. and executive boards of Union Sportsmen's Alliance and Blue Green Alliance.

Bank of Labor is a subsidiary of International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Iron Ship Builders Blacksmiths.
