Duke Realty closes 4th phase of portfolio sale to Healthcare Trust of America

Duke Realty Corp. sold three in-service properties to Healthcare Trust of America Inc. for an aggregate purchase price of $131.7 million.

The sale closed July 28, marking the fourth phase of the portfolio deal between the two companies announced in May.

The last phase of the portfolio deal, other than the closing of a property which was deferred on account of repairs, is expected to occur in the third quarter, according to the company.

The expected final makeup of the portfolio is 63 in-service properties, five buildings under construction, ownership interest in one unconsolidated joint venture and 16.5 acres of undeveloped land, for a total purchase price of $2.31 billion.
