* On Dec. 15, H. Gary Gabriel was appointed to the boards of Millington, N.J.-based MSB Financial Corp. and unit Millington Bank, to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Ferdinand Rossi. His term of office will commence Jan. 1, 2017.

Gabriel currently works as executive managing director of the metropolitan area capital markets group in Cushman & Wakefield's East Rutherford office, according to a Form 8-K filed Dec. 16.

* STAR Financial Bank promoted Mike Wallace to senior vice president of retail banking from vice president of mortgage banking, according to a Dec. 15 news release.

* Wayne, N.J.-based Valley National Bank, a unit of Valley National Bancorp, named Jeffrey Kramer senior vice president and director of customer experience.

Kramer, who joined the bank in 1986, has over 30 years of experience in customer service, retail small business banking, consumer lending and banking operations, according to a Dec. 13 news release.
