Japan's Awa Bank Ltd. has finalized a cooperation agreement with State Bank of India.

Under the terms of the agreement, rupee loans will be made available to Awa Bank's customers through the Indian bank based on the Japanese bank's standby letter of credit.

State Bank of India will also provide Awa Bank's customers with access to information about India's business and regulatory environment.
