Seven & i Holdings Co. Ltd. said July 5 that it has formed a business alliance with educational services provider Zoshinkai Holdings Inc. to provide convenient and accessible educational services to customers in Japan.
Zoshinkai operates companies that provide a range of educational services in various fields including correspondence education and foreign language instruction.
The Japanese convenience store operator will work with Zoshinkai on conducting social media-linked educational events, among others. Seven & i said the partnership will use 7-Eleven stores in the country as locations for submitting answer sheets. Multifunctional copy machines will be installed in stores, which will accept answer sheets from preschool students starting in August, with plans to expand to other courses later.
In addition, the partnership will promote the sale of Zoshinkai's study aid books on Seven & i's e-commerce site.
