Barclays PLC May 23 named Taylor Wright as managing director and co-head of U.S. equity capital markets.

Wright will be based in New York. He previously was Morgan Stanley's head of financial institutions and services equity capital markets. He will be the co-head together with Kristin DeClark, whose appointment was announced in March and will be effective in June.

Wright worked for the American investment banking giant for 24 years, according to a press release.
