Musgrave Minerals Ltd. said Oct. 10 that it has intersected the thickest high-grade gold interval to date at the Break of Day gold prospect within the Cue project in Western Australia.
At drill hole 16MORC026, assays returned up to 13 meters at 15.6 g/t of gold, including 3 meters at 51.8 g/t of gold, to create a combined interval assaying 21 meters at 21.5 g/t of gold.
Another significant assay at the same hole was 3 meters at 38.6 g/t of gold, including 1 meter at 100.5 g/t of gold.
The "strong" results prompted the company to further extend its drilling program by 2,000 meters. To date, the company has completed 5,600 meters of drilling in 24 drill holes, with more assay results expected in the coming weeks.
