Washington Prime unit completes $750M notes offering

Washington Prime Group Inc.'s operating partnership closed its $750 million offering of 5.950% notes due Aug. 15, 2024.

Interest on the notes is payable semiannually in arrears every Feb. 15 and Aug. 15, starting Feb. 15, 2018.

The company said earlier that the net proceeds from the offering, which closed Aug. 4, will be used to repay certain outstanding debt and trim certain borrowings.

Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, Jefferies LLC and U.S. Bancorp Investments Inc. were the representatives of the underwriters.
