NSGold Corp. said Oct. 6 that it acquired an additional 265 mineral claims, covering about 4,300 hectares in Nova Scotia.
The two new claims, dubbed the Mooseland North property and the Dufferin West property, were staked north of the company's Mooseland gold property, with 115 claims, and west of the Dufferin gold property, with 150 claims, respectively.
The Mooseland North is in Halifax County, 2 kilometers from the Mooseland gold mine. Meanwhile. Dufferin West is situated along the Salmon River anticline, covering 8 kilometers and contiguous to the structure for another 3 kilometers.
The company will start planning a prospecting fall program relevant to the Mooseland North property.
