Salamis Tours H2 profit climbs 78.0% YOY

Salamis Tours (Holdings) Public Ltd. said its second-half normalized net income amounted to 7 euro cents per share, a gain of 78.0% from 4 cents per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was €2.7 million, a gain of 78.0% from €1.5 million in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue increased 10.0% year over year to €21.9 million from €19.9 million, and total operating expenses came to €17.7 million, compared with €17.7 million in the prior-year period.

Reported net income grew 65.5% on an annual basis to €4.1 million, or 11 cents per share, from €2.5 million, or 7 cents per share.

For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled 10 cents per share, an increase from 4 cents per share in the prior year.

Normalized net income was €3.5 million, a gain from €1.5 million in the prior year.

Full-year total revenue grew 7.7% from the prior-year period to €36.5 million from €33.9 million, and total operating expenses declined year over year to €31.1 million from €31.5 million.

The company said reported net income rose on an annual basis to €5.7 million, or 16 cents per share, in the full year, from €2.5 million, or 7 cents per share.
