Getin Noble Bank completes sale of Credit Information Bureau stake

Getin Noble Bank SA on Dec. 19 sold its entire 10.93% stake in Poland's Credit Information Bureau to Idea Bank SA.

The value of the transaction, involving 1,700 Credit Information Bureau shares with a par value of 1,000 Polish zlotys apiece, amounts to 50 million zlotys. The transfer of shares to the new owner will take place not later than Dec. 23.

Getin Noble also said in its Dec. 19 filing that it will be entitled to a dividend payment on its holding in the Credit Information Bureau for the financial year 2016.

Both Getin Noble and Idea Bank are controlled by Polish businessman Leszek Czarnecki.

As of Dec. 19, US$1 was equivalent to 4.23 Polish zlotys.
