QBE Chile Seguros Generales changes name, taps new CEO

QBE Chile Seguros Generales SA's shareholders have decided in an extraordinary meeting on Aug. 4 to change the company's corporate name to Unnio Seguros Generales S.A., while appointing new directors and tapping a new CEO.

The company has appointed Egle Pulgar Jimeno, Diego Panizza Miller, Matías Williams Ossa, Fernando Concha Mendoza, and José Sojo as new directors, while Juan Ignacio Alvarez Troncoso has been named as new CEO.

QBE Chile's name change comes after the company decided to sell its shares to TMS SpA in May.
