Facebook launches food order, delivery service

Facebook Inc. on Oct. 13 launched a food pickup and delivery service.

The company has options from various restaurants like Jack in the Box, Five Guys, Papa John's and Panera, as well as food ordering services like EatStreet,, DoorDash, ChowNow and Olo.

Users will be able to place their orders directly through the mobile app or website from the "order food" section on the platform's "explore" menu that shows users a list of participating restaurants nearby. Users can also choose, wherever applicable, the food delivery service they prefer.
