Marsh Inc. Vice Chairman David Batchelor and vice chairman of global placement Jeremy Cooke are set to resign, re-Insurance.com reported.

Batchelor will leave the company's New York office at the end of 2018. Cooke will leave the London base in the first half of 2019.

The departures come as Marsh moves to reduce its costs and trim down its workforce. The company did not respond to requests for comment, the news outlet said.

Marsh is a subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc.

The head of Travelers Cos. Inc.'s U.K. financial institutions team, John Dexter, stepped down, The Insurance Insider reported.

He is set to join specialist commercial insurance provider CNA Hardy. The team's senior development underwriter, Janine McGriskin, also resigned from Travelers.

CNA Hardy named Rhonda Buege head of its newly formed augmented specialty business unit, effective July 5.

The unit will comprise all existing healthcare and specialty line products, including medical malpractice, technology, life science, cyber and financial lines, across both company and Lloyd's platforms. In her role, Buege will be responsible for the company's specialty product portfolio across the U.K., Europe, Canada and Asia.

Buege was previously vice president of the company's healthcare business.

CNA Hardy is part of CNA Financial Corp.

Willis Towers Watson PLC appointed Jeremy Wall head of its global FINEX team, according to an emailed news release.

FINEX is the financial and executive risk division of the company's corporate risk and broking business.

Wall had been a member of the company's FINEX leadership team prior to his appointment.
