Anfield Resources updates uranium resources at Clarkson Hill

Anfield Resources Inc. completed an updated resource estimate for the Clarkson Hill uranium project in Wyoming.

The company said Aug. 8 that it received a mineral resource technical report for the property, the second in a series of reports related to 24 uranium projects acquired from Uranium One Inc. subsidiary Uranium One Americas Inc. in September 2016.

Anfield is working on determining which of the projects has the most potential.

Clarkson Hill hosts inferred resources estimated at 957,000 tonnes grading 0.058% triuranium octoxide, or U3O8, which is equivalent to 1.1 million pounds of U3O8.

"Ultimately, Anfield aims to pair a future viable uranium resource with the resin processing agreement it has in place with Uranium One in Wyoming whereby it can process up to 500,000 pounds of uranium per year at Uranium One's Irigaray central processing plant," Anfield CEO Corey Dias said.

The Irigaray plant forms part of Uranium One's Willow Creek operation.
