Recurrent Energy to supply 100 MW of solar to MCE

RecurrentEnergy LLC will supply solar power to MCE, California's firstoperating community choice aggregation program.

Under a 15-year power purchase agreement, the subsidiarywill sell 100 MW from the planned Tranquillity 8 solar project in FresnoCounty, Calif. The project will start construction in 2017 and is expected toreach operations by late 2018.

The agreement marks the third PPA between Recurrent Energyand MCE, said Canadian Solar Chairman and CEO Shawn Qu in a Sept. 27 companyrelease.
