Como Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2015, amounted to ¥5.40 per share, a decline of 33.1% from ¥8.07 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥18.8 million, a decrease of 33.3% from ¥28.1 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin fell to 1.4% from 2.0% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue decreased on an annual basis to ¥1.35 billion from ¥1.42 billion, and total operating expenses fell from the prior-year period to ¥1.32 billion from ¥1.37 billion.
Reported net income declined 32.0% from the prior-year period to ¥17.0 million, or ¥4.89 per share, from ¥25.0 million, or ¥7.17 per share.
