China foreign direct investment up 90.7% YOY in November

China's foreign direct investment jumped 90.7% year over year to 124.92 billion yuan in November, up from an annual rate of increase of 5% in October, China's Ministry of Commerce said.

From January to November, China's FDI hit 803.62 billion yuan, up 9.8% from the same period in 2016. Investment from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan increased by 20.1%, 47.2% and 7.4%, respectively, during the period.

As of Dec. 13, US$1 was equivalent to 6.62 Chinese yuan.
