Asia's RugbyPass gets digital rights to British tournaments

Over-the-topsports platform RugbyPass has secured the digital rights to show British rugbytournament matches across Asia, World Screen reported July 12.

As part ofthe agreement, the OTT service will show every game in four competitions: the PremiershipRugby Sevens series in late July, Aviva Premiership Rugby in early September,the Anglo-Welsh Cup in November and the RBS Six Nations Championship in January2017.

RugbyPasswas launched in Asia in February by New Zealand-based Coliseum Sports Media and serves 23 marketsacross the region. DiscoveryCommunications Inc. bought a minority stake in the service in April.
