UMH Properties Inc.Chairman Eugene Landy said RichardMolke has retired from the company's board after 30 years of service.
Accordingly, the company's board named Kenneth Quigley Jr. tofill the vacancy created by Molke's retirement. Quigley will serve as a class IIindependent director for the remaining term due to expire in 2017.
Quigley is an attorney and has held the role of president ofMilton, Mass.-based Curry College. He is also a trustee on several not-for-profitgroups and was an independent director and past chairman of a REIT's audit committee,according to an April 8 release.
Just days earlier, the company closed its public offering of 2 million shares of 8.0% seriesB cumulative redeemable preferred stock, raising net proceeds of roughly $49.1 million,after expenses.
