Axis Bank Ltd. appointed Pralay Mondal executive director of retail banking for a three-year period, starting Aug. 1.

The appointment is subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals.

Prior to joining Axis Bank, Mondal served as senior group president of retail and business banking at Yes Bank Ltd.
