Sydney Stock Exchange, Guotai Junan International to create mutual trading platforms

The Sydney Stock Exchange said April 4 that it signed amemorandum of understanding with Hong Kong's Guotai Junan International Holdings Ltd. and AIMSFinancial Group to develop mutual trading platforms.

The partnership will also allow Guotai Junan Internationalclients to list on the Australian bourse, particularly those in the mining, oiland gas, real estate, technology, agribusiness and consumer and businessservices industries.

The agreement is also expected to strengthen capital marketties among Australia, Hong Kong and China.

Guotai Junan International is a unit of China's
