World Acceptance Corp. promoted John Calmes Jr. to treasurer, executive vice president and chief financial and strategy officer.

Calmes will continue as the company's principal financial officer.

The company also promoted Scott McIntyre, vice president of accounting-US, to senior vice president of accounting. McIntyre was also designated as the company's principal accounting officer for SEC reporting purposes.
