Talbros Automotive Components Ltd said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, came to 2.89 Indian rupees per share, an increase of 65.9% from 1.75 rupees per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 35.8 million rupees, an increase of 65.9% from 21.6 million rupees in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin rose to 3.5% from 2.5% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 15.0% year over year to 1.01 billion rupees from 876.5 million rupees, and total operating expenses increased 11.6% on an annual basis to 920.9 million rupees from 825.2 million rupees.
Reported net income rose 32.7% on an annual basis to 37.6 million rupees, or 3.04 rupees per share, from 28.3 million rupees, or 2.29 rupees per share.
As of Feb. 12, US$1 was equivalent to 62.20 Indian rupees.
