Senshukai Co. Ltd. said its third-quarter normalized net income came to a loss of ¥3.24 per share, compared with a loss of ¥12.34 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of ¥169.3 million, compared with a loss of ¥534.4 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin climbed to negative 0.6% from negative 1.9% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue came to ¥28.03 billion, compared with ¥28.09 billion in the prior-year period, and total operating expenses increased year over year to ¥29.50 billion from ¥29.08 billion.
Reported net income totaled a loss of ¥297.0 million, or a loss of ¥5.68 per share, compared to a loss of ¥568.4 million, or a loss of ¥13.12 per share, in the prior-year period.
