Report: Deutsche Bank names Asia-Pacific asset management biz head

Deutsche Bank AG tapped Morgan Stanley Investment Management Inc.'s COO for global sales and distribution, Alex Prout, to head its Asia-Pacific asset management business, Reuters reported Oct. 4, citing "a person with knowledge of the move."

Prout will start his new role in November and will be based in Hong Kong.

Deutsche Bank confirmed the move to Reuters, without elaborating on the appointment.

Morgan Stanley Investment Management is a unit of Morgan Stanley.
