Boeing Co. said it has completed the previously announced acquisition of KLX Inc., an aviation parts and services provider.

The buyer said the deal will enable it to "compete and win in the $2.8 trillion, 10-year aerospace services market."

KLX Aerospace Solutions will continue to operate from Miami with approximately 2,000 employees and customer service centers located in more than 15 countries.
