Saul Centers appoints new president; JLL names co-CEOs of technologies division

C-suite changes

* Saul Centers Inc. named Chairman and CEO Bernard Saul II its new president, effective Oct. 1, succeeding J. Page Lansdale. Lansdale, who will continue as a board member at the shopping center landlord, resigned as president and COO, effective Sept. 30, earlier than his planned resignation on Dec. 31. The company also promoted Christopher Netter, Scott Schneider and D. Todd Pearson to executive vice president.

* Global real estate and investment management firm Jones Lang LaSalle Inc. appointed Mihir Shah and Yishai Lerner as co-CEOs of its newly formed JLL Technologies division.

* The We Co. unit WeWork Cos. Inc.'s head of real estate development, Granit Gjonbalaj, intends to step down and is discussing his exit package, The Real Deal reported, citing unnamed sources. Other notable potential exits at the co-working giant reported in the past few days include Vice Chairman Michael Gross and Chief Product Officer Chris Hill.

Board shuffle

* Communications REIT Uniti Group Inc. appointed Carmen Perez-Carlton to be a director, enlarging its board to six members from five.

* John Rakolta Jr. stepped down from Agree Realty Corp.'s board due to his recent confirmation as the U.S. ambassador to the United Arab Emirates.

Other news

* National Storage Affiliates Trust appointed Russell Brown senior vice president of acquisitions, effective Oct. 1. Brown most recently was senior vice president of investments and capital markets with Flagship Healthcare Properties.
