Mitsubishi UFJ Financial completes ¥50B share repurchase program

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Inc. completed its ¥50 billion share repurchase program after repurchasing 85,775,400 of its own shares.

As part of the program, the group sought to buy back up to 100 million shares between Nov. 14 and Dec. 31. It will cancel the repurchased shares Jan. 20, 2020.

As of Dec. 24, US$1 was equivalent to ¥109.35.
