Carlos Moltini is stepping down as CEO of Telecom Argentina, effective Dec. 31.

Moltini will remain at the Argentinian operator to assume a new role focused on the company's strategic plans, according to an Oct. 22 U.S. SEC filing.

Telecom Argentina nominated its former COO and current Deputy Director General Roberto Nóbile to replace Moltini. His appointment as the new CEO takes effect Jan. 1, 2020, subject to approval by the company's board.
