FERC approves Ameren Missouri's acquisition of 157-MW wind project

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission approved Ameren Missouri's acquisition of a planned 157-MW wind project from EDF-RE US Development LLC.

The Brickyard Hills wind project is being built in Atchison County, Mo., within the Midcontinent ISO market. It is expected to achieve commercial operation on or about December 2020.

The project is intended to help the Ameren Corp. subsidiary meet state renewable obligations.

Ameren Missouri is legally known as Union Electric Co. EDF-RE US Development is an indirect subsidiary of EDF Group. (FERC docket EC19-64)
