Petrol d.d. Q3 profit climbs 55.7% YOY

Petrol d.d. said its third-quarter normalized net income amounted to €13.38 per share, a gain of 55.7% from €8.60 per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was €27.6 million, an increase of 55.7% from €17.7 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin rose to 3.9% from 2.4% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue decreased year over year to €712.2 million from €743.4 million, and total operating expenses fell 6.6% year over year to €667.8 million from €715.0 million.

Reported net income increased 7.6% from the prior-year period to €25.1 million, or €12.19 per share, from €23.4 million, or €11.33 per share.
