Lancaster, Pa.-based Fulton Financial Corp. now expects low-single digitquarterly net interest margin compression absent any further rate increases,according to an investor presentation discussing the company's second-quarterresults.
The original NIM outlook was stable on an annual basis, withmodest volatility or +/- zero to 3 basis points on a quarterly basis.
The company's NIM for the second quarter was 3.20%, compared to 3.23%in the linked quarter and 3.20% in the year-ago period.
Fulton reported net income of $39.8 million, or 23 cents pershare, for the second quarter, compared to $36.7 million, or 21 cents pershare, for the second quarter of 2015.
