Oakdale Resources Ltd. said Aug. 10 that it formally terminated its deal to acquire up to a 51% interest in Africa Mineral Sands Pte. Ltd., which owns the Vast mineral sands project in South Africa.

The company said in its quarterly report in July that progress on the property had been extremely slow and that it was considering an exit.
