TelekomunikasiIndonesia, a state-owned telco operator in Indonesia, is exploring options to acquire overseas and localbusinesses in a bid to bolster its digital business.
Telkom is reportedlylooking into the key markets of Southeast Asia, Japan, South Korea and the U.S. for potential acquisitions, DealStreet Asia reported April 25.
Telkom reportedlyplans to spend 28 trillion Indonesian rupiah for investments in 2016. Digital businessaccounts for 50% of its revenues, according to the report.
Mobile networkoperator Telekomunikasi Selular, ICT solutions provider Telkom Sigma and onlinemarketplace Blanja.com, a joint venture between Telekom and eBay Inc., will aid Telkom in the business expansion.
