Kroll affirms First Financial Bancorp

Kroll Bond Rating Agency on Oct. 10 affirmed several ratings of Cincinnati-based First Financial Bancorp., including its BBB+ senior unsecured debt rating, its BBB subordinated debt rating and its K2 short-term debt rating.

Also affirmed were unit First Financial Bank's ratings, including the bank's deposit and senior unsecured debt ratings of A-, subordinated debt rating of BBB+ and short-term deposit and debt ratings of K2.

The outlook on all long-term ratings is stable.

The ratings reflect the company's solid core deposit base and healthy liquidity, stable asset quality metrics and strong history of profitability.
