Pan Group Q1 profit climbs YOY

Pan Group JSC said its normalized net income for the first quarter was 220.91 dong per share, a gain from 47.35 dong per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 19.85 billion dong, a gain from 2.03 billion dong in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 5.7% from 1.2% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose year over year to 381.21 billion dong from 174.40 billion dong, and total operating expenses rose on an annual basis to 330.50 billion dong from 161.51 billion dong.

Reported net income rose from the prior-year period to 34.18 billion dong, or 380.44 dong per share, from 10.30 billion dong, or 240.85 dong per share.
