China Banking Corp. appointed William Whang and Lilian Yu as board directors of unit China Bank Securities Corp.

The appointments took effect July 20, the bank said Aug. 2. Whang currently serves as an executive vice president, COO and head of lending business segment and institutional banking group at China Banking, while Yu serves as first vice president and deputy head of institutional banking group.
