Warehouses De Pauw H1 EPRA EPS rises 7.5% YOY

Warehouses De Pauw said its European Public Real Estate Association-based EPS for the first half was €3.16, an increase of 7.5% from €2.94 in the prior-year period.

EPRA earnings totaled €73.2 million, an increase of 12.5% from €65.1 million in the year-earlier period.

Group share net result, as defined by the International Financial Reporting Standards, increased 85.7% from the prior-year period to €174.9 million, or €7.56 per share, from €94.2 million, or €4.26 per share.

In reporting results, the company said it expects €6.50 EPRA EPS for the full year.

The Belgian industrial real estate company said it agreed to form a 50/50 joint venture with Germany-based VIB Vermögen AG for the development and acquisition of industrial, semi-industrial and logistics buildings primarily in the German regions of North Rhine-Westphalia, Bremen and Hamburg.

For 2019, Warehouses is proposing a €5.20 per-share dividend, up 8% from the 2018 annual dividend.

The company is also proposing a 7:1 share split effective from Jan. 2, 2020.
