Discovery Communications Inc. announced Oct. 11 that Marjorie Kaplan, president of international content, is leaving the company.
The move is part of a reorganization of Discovery's international creative group devised by Kaplan. The international content group will be folded into the U.K. business under Susanna Dinnage, who has been promoted to president and managing director of Discovery Networks U.K./Ireland.
Dinnage, who has been with the company for seven years, will be tasked with content creation for international markets.
Kaplan, meanwhile, will remain in her position until the end of the year to help Dinnage with the transition.
