Green Dot announces 3 board appointments, 1 resignation

Green Dot Corp.on April 11 announced the appointment of three independent directors to its boardand the resignation of Samuel Altman, a non-independent member, effective immediately.

As a result, the size of the board was increased to 10 directorsfrom eight, and nine will be independent.

J. Chris Brewster, one of the new directors, was most recentlyCFO of Cardtronics Inc.Rajeev Date, the second appointee, is the founder and managing partner of FenwaySumer LLC, a venture investment firm.
