Bank of Baroda to issue up to 16.5B rupees of AT1 bonds

Bank of Baroda plans to issue up to 16.5 billion Indian rupees of Basel III-compliant Additional Tier 1 capital bonds.

The bank will issue a minimum of 5 billion rupees of bonds with a green shoe option, with the total issue size not exceeding 16.5 billion rupees.

The bonds will be issued in one or more tranches.

As of Oct. 10, US$1 was equivalent to 65.15 Indian rupees.
