AEP increases credit facility to $4B

American Electric Power Co. Inc. has amended an existing credit agreement to increase the commitment available to $4 billion from $3 billion and to extend the maturity date by a year to June 30, 2022.

Borrowings and letters of credit are available under customary conditions including a debt to total capitalization ratio at a level that does not exceed 67.5%, according to a filing.
