H.W. Kaufman Financial Group Inc., through subsidiary Burns & Wilcox Canada, has acquired XN Canada Private Client Services, which is the high-value homeowners insurance practice of XN Financial Services Inc. and a subsidiary of French insurer The Henner Group.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The deal marks the expansion of Burns & Wilcox Canada into Quebec. XN Canada Private Client Services' employees and products will become part of Burns & Wilcox Canada.

Last week, H.W. Kaufman acquired the Colorado-based audit services and general liability insurance provider Essential Insurance Services Inc.
