Leadcorp Q3 profit climbs YOY

Leadcorp Inc. said its normalized net income for the third quarter came to 303.11 South Korean won per share, a gain from 296.95 won per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 8.08 billion won, a gain from 7.93 billion won in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin increased to 9.3% from 9.0% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue came to 87.21 billion won, compared with 87.99 billion won in the year-earlier period, and total operating expenses declined 13.0% year over year to 50.93 billion won from 58.55 billion won.

Reported net income rose 7.6% year over year to 9.86 billion won, or 369.58 won per share, from 9.16 billion won, or 343.00 won per share.

As of Nov. 16, US$1 was equivalent to 1,172.80 South Korean won.
