FHLB San Francisco settles MBS-related litigation for $236M

The FederalHome Loan Bank of San Francisco has entered into a settlementagreement with certain defendants in connection with its private-labelmortgage-backed securities litigation for $236 million.

The FHLB said in a Form 8-K filed July 12 that itslitigation continues against various issuers, dealers and underwriters.
